Viaggiare Sicuri (Safe Travelling)

The site www.viaggiaresicuri.it was created by the foreign ministry’s Crisis Unit in collaboration with the Italian automobile club (ACI) and supplies up-to-date information on the current situation in all the countries of the world, including special advisories on security, weather phenomena, epidemics, etc.
All advisories are subject to variations on short notice.


Individual country data sheets

In addition to special advisories, there are also regularly updated Data Sheets available on each individual country, with information on security and health concerns, guidelines for business persons, viability and other useful information.


Check just before leaving

Remember to check www.viaggiaresicuri.it just before leaving, since situations and legal and administrative measures in place in foreign countries may change rapidly, and we keep up to date on all those changes.

Before leaving on holiday or business register on www.dovesiamonelmondo.it, indicating your personal data, travel itinerary and mobile phone number.


Privacy – Data Confidentiality

All data will be automatically cancelled two days after your date of re-entry and will only be used in case of emergency to facilitate the intervention by the foreign ministry Crisis Unit.


Registration via text message

In addition to registering on-line you can also do it by sending a text message (SMS) from yourmobile phone containing a question mark (?) or the word “AIUTO” (help) to the cell number320 2043424or by phoning011-2219018and following the recorded instructions.


Foreign Diplomatic Missions

Italian diplomatic-consular missions have the task of protecting the interests of Italians in circumstances outside national borders, and they offer a variety of services that concern, for example, cases of death, accident, serious illness, arrest or detention, acts of violence, assistance in emergencies (natural catastrophes, civil disorder, armed conflict, etc,), issuance of emergency travel documents in case of loss or theft of passport.
