Investments

Foreign Businesses in Italy

Information regarding investment possibilities in Italy is available on the Invitalia website of the Italian National Development Agency, which assists foreign businesses in installing or expanding their operations in Italy. The services offered are free and include: updated information on sectors of interest; consulting on incentives, labour and trade laws and the legal and taxation systems; a cost/benefit benchmarking service for assessing the competitive advantages of Italian industrial clusters; practical assistance  in location scouting, partners searches and relations with the public administration.
Other information can be found on the http://www.italtrade.com/ website of the Italian Foreign Trade Institute (ICE), which supplies information on the Italian market and possibilities for business and cooperation between Italian and foreign companies.
Initial contact between investors and the various Italian actors can also take place through the network of Italian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (www.camcom.it, www.globus.camcom.it), as well as through the trade office of the nearest Italian Embassy.
