The Foreign Ministry Crisis Unit has a continuously updated database containing information and assessments from various Italian and foreign institutional sources, which can be consulted at the following website:

or else by calling
0039 06 491115 (ACI Call Center) every day from 8:00 to 20:00


Where can I find specific and personalised information on the country I’m planning to visit?
You can contact the local Italian consular/diplomatic mission
or
the foreign diplomatic mission of the country in Italy Registering when travelling abroad.
Before travelling to countries considered at risk it is advisable to register at the following website:
www.dovesiamonelmondo.it
This is a Foreign Ministry service allowing Italian citizens planning a trip abroad to voluntarily register their personal and travel data so as to facilitate the Crisis Unit in planning rapid and efficient rescue operations in the event of a serious emergency.


What to do in case of difficulty abroad?
Italian citizens travelling abroad can request assistance and/or protection from the locally authorised diplomatic/consular mission.


I have had a problem with an airline company. What can I do?
For problems associated with air transportation it is possible to contact the National Civil Aviation Authority ENAC.
