Attracting foreign business and academic talent

Attracting foreign talent is crucial to making us more competitive and to sustaining the internationalisation of Italian businesses.
This is the motivation behind the programme “Invest Your Talent in Italy”, a joint effort by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Directorate General for Economic Cooperation), ICE and the Chambers of Commerce that began with India in 2006.
This educational initiative involves the offer by several of Italy’s finest universities, exempt of the usual academic fees, of English language Masters courses in ICT, management and design; the ICE and Chambers of Commerce offer internships and study grants for the most deserving students; and the Ministry promotes these opportunities to study and work in Italy through “roadshows” held in various Indian cities.
Participating universities include: the Turin Polytechnical Institute, the Milan Polytechnical Institute, Bocconi University in Milan, the University of Trento, teh University of Genoa, Rome’s LUISS Guido Carli, the University of Macerata and the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa.
