On 8 May 2012 Amsterdam hosted the first promotional event in the Netherlands organised by Udine Chamber of Commerce to showcase products and tourism offerings from Friuli-Venezia Giulia
The promotion included a technical seminar devoted to interior design, which illustrated the history of the “Chair District” as a example of excellence that marries tradition with innovation. Other events included a press conference on tourism and an exploration of the Region’s food and wine.
The promotion was conducted under the aegis of the Italian Embassy and was staged with support from representatives of “System Italy” in the Netherlands, most notably the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Holland and the “ICE” Office in Brussels (whose remit includes the Netherlands).
