MARINES: our actions comply with international law, says Terzi. Ban Ki Moon appeal

14 March 2013

“Our very solid position, of which we are fully convinced and that is shared by many of our major international community partners, is that we are acting in full compliance with international legal standards and customary international laws and treaties”, Minister Giulio Terzi reiterated in Jerusalem, where he met with Israeli political leaders after speaking at the Herzilya Conference.

Ban Ki Moon: Dialogue and compliance with international law

“I was pleased”, Terzi added, “and fully agree with the appeal announced by the UN Secretary General’s spokesperson yesterday in New York, and which I reiterated in my own statement, to resolve this dispute through diplomatic channels, through dialogue and on the basis of the principles of international law. This is our firm conviction”, he concluded.
