Cristina Ravaglia

Born in Cesena, Ambassador Cristina Ravaglia is a diplomat, currently serving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in Rome, as Director General for Italians Abroad and Migration Policies.

After obtaining a Law Degree at the University of Florence in 1975, receiving Master Degrees in Administrative Law and EEC Law, articling (Civil Law, International Private Law) and working as an Instructor (Civil Law / Environmental and Land Use Law) at the Temple University School of Law Summer Courses in Rome, Ms. Ravaglia successfully completed the Italian Bar Exam in 1978 and joined the Italian MFA that same year.

As a diplomat she served in Warsaw, Buenos Aires, Munich and Madrid. Her work has focused mainly on services and initiatives for the Italian communities abroad, migration policies, Asian and Latin American affairs, Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, cultural affairs.
