A tender is to be published over the next 60 days for project manager of the fourth Panama Canal Bridge project. The announcement came from Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela, who explained that the winner would also manage the three metro line project. This fourth bridge is to be built on north side of the Bridge of the Americas and will consist of a six-lane section for cars and a two-track section for the new monorail Metro Line 3 linking the capital with the neighbourhoods located west of the canal.
