The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns the launch of ballistic missiles by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns last night’s launch of ballistic missiles by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Repeated missile tests, compounded to the development of a nuclear arsenal by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, constitutes a threat to international peace and security and an open violation of the UN Security Council Resolutions. The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea must forgo its development of an arsenal of missiles and nuclear weapons and abandon the road undertaken to challenge the international community and towards self-isolation. Italy is ready to join the firm and cohesive response of the International Community.
