10<\/span><\/b><\/em>th<\/span><\/sup><\/b><\/em>\u00a0edition of the MED Mediterranean Dialogues Conference promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ISPI<\/span><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The 10<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup>\u00a0edition of the\u00a0MED Mediterranean Dialogues<\/strong>\u00a0Conference will be held\u00a0from 25 to 27 November 2024<\/strong>\u00a0at the Rome Cavalieri \u2013 Waldorf Astoria Hotel (Via Cadlolo 101) in Rome.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The conference – promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Institute for International Policy Studies (ISPI) \u2013 will officially open\u00a0on Monday 25 November with a speech by Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0ISPI President Franco Bruni<\/strong>. Deputy Prime Minister\u00a0Tajani will also speak at the closing ceremony on 27 November at 12:30 p.m<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The event will be attended by high-level representatives from all over the enlarged Mediterranean region, as well as representatives of numerous relevant international organisations, including\u00a0Ahmed Aboul Gheit,\u00a0<\/strong>Secretary General, Arab League;\u00a0Taher al-Baour,\u00a0<\/strong>Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Libya;\u00a0Abdallah Bou Habib,\u00a0<\/strong>Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Lebanon;\u00a0Subrahmanyam Jaishankar,\u00a0<\/strong>Minister of Foreign Affairs, India;\u00a0Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk<\/strong>, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauritania;\u00a0Shaya Mohsin Zindani,\u00a0<\/strong>Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Yemen;\u00a0Geir O.<\/strong>\u00a0Pedersen,\u00a0<\/strong>Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Syria.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0Mediterranean Dialogues<\/b><\/em>\u00a0are the main public diplomacy initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This year\u2019s edition will be held concurrently with the G7 Ministerial Meeting on Foreign Affairs hosted by the Italian government.
