It is implemented by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN\/DESA) and targets post-graduate Italian nationals.<\/p>\n<p>Through this Programme, young skilled professionals are selected for a one-year on-the-job training in the Field Offices of organizations belonging to the United Nations System or the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) in developing countries. Before taking up their assignment in the host country, Fellows attend a mandatory orientation workshop, which is an integral part of the Programme.<\/p>\n<p>The <u>tentative<\/u> timeframe for the <strong>2022 &#8211; 2023 round of <\/strong>the Programme is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>February-March 2023<\/em>: orientation workshop<\/li>\n<li><em>March 2023 \u2013 March 2024<\/em>: work experience\/on-the-job training period in a UN or AICS Field Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To be considered eligible, all of the following requirements are mandatory:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>born <em>on<\/em> or <em>after<\/em> 1 January 1994<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Italian nationality<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English <u>and<\/u> Italian<\/li>\n<li>hold one of the following advanced university degrees (or degree combinations) awarded\u00a0<u>before<\/u>the application deadline:\n<ul>\n<li><em>Laurea Magistrale<\/em><em>\/Specialistica\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Laurea Magistrale a ciclo unico <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Laurea\/Laurea Triennale<\/em> plus university Master\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree plus university Master\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For practical advice on preparing an application to the Italian Fellowships Programme, candidates are invited to attend a Webinar on one of the following dates (N.B. prior online enrolment is mandatory via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.undesa.it\">www.undesa.it<\/a>):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>29 June 2022 (5:00 p.m.)<\/li>\n<li>4 July 2022 (5:00 p.m.)<\/li>\n<li>7 July 2022 (10:30 a.m.)<\/li>\n<li>13 July 2022 (10:30 a.m.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The deadline for application submission is <strong>29 July 2022<\/strong> at <strong>3:00 pm<\/strong> (Italian local time). Incomplete or late applications will not be considered valid.<\/p>\n<p>Applications can only be submitted online via the \u2018<em>Online Web Application<\/em>\u2019 system (OWA) of the UN\/DESA Rome Office.
