{"id":10006,"date":"2018-02-19T17:07:01","date_gmt":"2018-02-19T16:07:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2018\/02\/selezioni-young-ambassadors-society-2\/"},"modified":"2018-02-19T17:07:01","modified_gmt":"2018-02-19T16:07:01","slug":"selezioni-young-ambassadors-society","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/approfondimenti\/2018\/02\/selezioni-young-ambassadors-society\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cYoung Ambassadors Society\u201d recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>G20 Youth Summit: The Young Ambassadors Society is recruiting 2 delegates for Y20 Argentina 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In association with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) is recruiting two delegates to represent Italy at the Y20 Youth Summit, the youth conference corresponding to the G20.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the Y20 Summit will be held in the C\u00f3rdoba Province in Argentina from 13 to 19 August 2018.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The focus of the Y20 Summit will be \u201cEducation for Development\u201d. The delegates will discuss the following issues:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Skills for the 21st century: education for employment, innovative educational methodologies, reducing gender and inequality gaps, teaching skills and citizenship;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The future of work: adapt the current labour paradigm, policies for retraining and re-skilling workforce, new technologies;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Entrepreneurship and self-employment: employment, innovation and welfare effects, youth unemployment, infrastructure to foster local consumption and collaboration, digital economy;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sustainable development: strong, sustainable and inclusive development, circular and blue economy, sustainable consumption and resource efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The conclusions reached by the delegates will be put into a statement that will be presented to the G20 leaders.<\/p>\n<p>Delegates must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Age between 18 and 30;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Deep knowledge on at least one of the four task force topics listed above;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Valid passport with visa if necessary;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fluent English;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Commitment to work at least 10 hours a month on the preparation and follow-up actions of Y20 for 12 months;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Non-government employee;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Capacity to understand global problems with a multicultural perspective;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent academic credentials and\/or experience in voluntary work, or currently an active participant in youth organisations or an NGO or involvement in projects that deal with youth-related issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Food and lodging while in C\u00f3rdoba will be covered by the organisation in charge of the Y20.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, travel costs to and from C\u00f3rdoba will have to be borne by the delegate.
