The arrival is scheduled at <strong>6:45 p.m<\/strong>. The President of the Italian Republic, <strong>Sergio Mattarella<\/strong>, the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, <strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, the President of RCS, <strong>Urbano Cairo<\/strong>, and the President of the Italian Trade Agency &#8211; ICE, <strong>Matteo Zoppas<\/strong>, will be there to welcome the participants. The audience will also include representatives of the <strong>Diplomatic Corps<\/strong> accredited to the Quirinale and representatives of the <strong>companies<\/strong> supporting the organisation of the Giro.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRESS ACCREDITATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Advance accreditation of the media representatives concerned is compulsory.<\/p>\n<p>The press representatives who will be accredited through MAECI will be placed in a <u>stand closer<\/u> to the Authorities than that of the media representatives who will be accredited with the organisers of the Giro d&#8217;Italia. However, the space dedicated to MAECI is limited; therefore, not all accreditation requests may be accepted. <u>Only those who receive confirmation of participation<\/u> will be allowed access to the event venues.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the arrival can obtain accreditation by sending a request to the following e-mail address <strong>no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday 26 May<\/strong>: <a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a> (Tel. 06 3691 3432\u20133078, 8210 or 8573), attaching the following:<\/p>\n<p>For representatives of the Italian press:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of an identity document<\/li>\n<li>Letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or \u2013 in the absence of the latter \u2013 copy of professional identity card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>Letter from the newspaper of affiliation;<\/li>\n<li>Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(only if not previously sent).<\/p>\n<p>For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>press badge will be handed out<\/strong> (in person, upon presentation of valid ID) on <strong>Sunday 28 May<\/strong>.
