{"id":101534,"date":"2023-05-30T12:06:59","date_gmt":"2023-05-30T10:06:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2023\/05\/aggiornamento-nota-di-accreditamento-stampa-conferenza-sdg-16-farnesina-31-maggio-2023\/"},"modified":"2023-05-31T08:43:01","modified_gmt":"2023-05-31T06:43:01","slug":"aggiornamento-nota-di-accreditamento-stampa-conferenza-sdg-16-farnesina-31-maggio-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/notestampa\/2023\/05\/aggiornamento-nota-di-accreditamento-stampa-conferenza-sdg-16-farnesina-31-maggio-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"UPDATE &#8211; PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE SDG 16 CONFERENCE ROME 30 May \u2013 1 June 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>UPDATE &#8211; <\/strong><strong>PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>SDG 16 CONFERENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>ROME 30 May \u2013 1 June 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>From 30 May to 1 June<\/strong>, the 4th <strong>Global Conference on the Status of Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 16<\/strong>, which aims to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels, will be held at the <strong>Farnesina<\/strong>\u00a0 in the International Conference Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The event, entitled \u201c<strong><em>SDG 16 as a compass for navigating intersecting crises\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, is organised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) and the International Development Law Organization (IDLO).<\/p>\n<p>The Conference &#8211; opened by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli &#8211; \u00a0represents the most relevant moment of in-depth analysis on one of the most qualifying and transversal Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. By organising the Conference, Italy has gained substantial leadership in its advancement. The results of the Conference will contribute to the preparations and resolutions of the intergovernmental meetings on the 2030 Agenda in the coming months, including the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in July and the SDG Summit in September.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u00a0<strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>\u00a0will open the\u00a0<strong>31 May<\/strong>\u00a0plenary session\u00a0<strong>at 9:30 a.m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>photo-opportunity<\/strong> is scheduled at <strong>9.20 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The session, entitled\u00a0<em>\u201cPromoting participatory decision making to accelerate transformative action: food systems and climate change\u201d <\/em>will be dedicated to two major challenges of our time \u2013 food security and climate change \u2013 and to the best practices of participatory governance that have been implemented to address them.
