Discussions will also focus on issues connected to the Horn of Africa and special attention will be given to the political and security situation in the area around the Red Sea. Discussions will also extend to relations between the European Union and Africa in view of the EU-Africa Summit in November. Minister Alfano will later attend an informal working lunch with the Chair of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki, before participating in the Council\u2019s afternoon working session, when discussions will focus on the Eastern Partnership in view of the EU-Eastern Partnership Summit scheduled next 24 November in Brussels.
