Since then, Italian ice-cream has become an integral part of Dutch culture.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition focuses on both past and present and offers a special look at the current third and fourth generation of Italian ice-cream makers in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Curating the historical section of the exhibition is <strong>Daniela Tasca<\/strong>, who, over the years, has collected dozens of photographs and historical documents from public and private archives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Claudia Zanin<\/strong>, on the other hand, is in charge of the \u201c<strong>Stories<\/strong>\u201d, with text and image portraits of seven Italian ice-cream makers, as well as testimonies from the loyal customers of <strong>Zammatteo<\/strong>, her family&#8217;s historic ice-cream parlour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A century of Italian ice-cream history in the Netherlands is encapsulated in the photo exhibition \u201cLa Dolce Invasione\u201d (\u201cThe Sweet Invasion\u201d), as promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute of Amsterdam.
