{"id":10354,"date":"2016-08-01T14:27:10","date_gmt":"2016-08-01T12:27:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2016\/08\/avviata-la-consultazione-pubblica_0-2\/"},"modified":"2016-08-01T14:27:10","modified_gmt":"2016-08-01T12:27:10","slug":"avviata-la-consultazione-pubblica_0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/approfondimenti\/2016\/08\/avviata-la-consultazione-pubblica_0\/","title":{"rendered":"CIDU opens a public online consultation on the National Action Plan on Businesses and Human Rights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Inter-Ministerial Committee for Human Rights (CIDU) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has recently published on its Website &#8211;\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cidu.esteri.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.cidu.esteri.it<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0the preliminary National Action Plan on Businesses and Human Rights.<\/p>\n<p>The Plan is the outcome of a broad consultation campaign promoted by CIDU among institutional bodies, business representatives, civil society organizations, trade unions and sectorial experts.<\/p>\n<p>The Plan implements the commitments made following the adoption by the United Nations Human Rights Council of the &#8220;Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ohchr.org\/Documents\/Publications\/GuidingPrinciplesBusinessHR_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.ohchr.org\/Documents\/Publications\/GuidingPrinciplesBusinessHR_EN.pdf<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The public consultation is open until 10 September.
