Regional crises, combating violent extremism, economic development with a special focus on the implementation of the\u00a02030 Agenda, and Italy\u2019s high-profile role vis-\u00e0-vis migration and the situation in Libya will be the key topics to be addressed in his meetings with African and Arab Permanent Representatives to the UN. Mr Gentiloni will also attend the meeting of the Italy-Pacific Small Island Developing States (PSIDS) Partnership Joint Committee that will take place\u00a0ahead of\u00a0the Symposium in Rome on March 7 \u2013 9 on the Protection of Oceans and Coastal Areas.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister will speak at the seminar &#8220;Beyond turmoil: challenges and opportunities in the Mediterranean&#8221;\u00a0promoted by\u00a0the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), one the most qualified independent foreign policy think-tanks.
