\u201cTotal alarm for religious minorities\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n There is a state of \u201ctotal alarm\u201d over what is happening throughout the world to religious minorities in general and Christians in particular, said Gentiloni. \u201cThere are communities\u201d, he continued, \u201clike the Yazidis in Iraq, that risk being eliminated altogether\u201d. To defend religious minorities, \u201cactions that are symbolic but also concrete\u201d are needed, he added.<\/p>\n From Barcelona, Minister Gentiloni will travel to Nairobi for a short visit, one week on from the bloody attack at Garissa University that saw the deaths of 148 people, most of them Christian students.
