The show \u201c<strong>Il Perugino &#8211; Il meglio maestro d\u2019Italia<\/strong>\u201d, curated by the\u00a0<strong>Museo de Jade y de la Cultura Precolombina<\/strong>, is an initiative promoted by the <strong>Italian Embassy in Costa Rica <\/strong>in partnership with <strong>Instituto Nacional de Seguros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pietro Vannucci (c. 1450 -1523) was the most prolific Italian painter in the last two decades of the 15<sup>th<\/sup> century. The exhibition \u2013 open until 5 February 2024 \u2013 presents the life and places inhabited by Perugino in fifteen works; more specifically, it offers an overview of the historical Medici Florence between the end of the 15<sup>th<\/sup> and the beginning of the 16<sup>th<\/sup> century, known for other famous painters like Verrocchio, il Ghirlandaio, Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo, Raffaello and Michelangelo.
