The latest 2014 webinar offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s joint project with Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna entitled \u201cInternationalisation just a click away\u201d will take place on 9 December 2014 at 15:30. The webinar will examine the Canadian market and, in particular, opportunities in mechanics\/automotive and agrifood sectors. Canada is a country with high incomes and robust consumption, with a solid macroeconomic base certified by its triple-A Standard&Poor\u2019s rating. It is an important NAFTA port of access, with 462 million consumers. Its stable political system, job market conditions, production costs and access to credit make Canada an especially appealing place for Italian firms. Our traditionally solid bilateral relations have seen further strengthening in trade that peaked at USD 7.7 billion in 2013, with growth of over 12% compared with the previous year. Italy exports mainly machinery, beverages (mainly wines), food products and mineral fuels to Canada. The webinar offers to take a detailed look at the opportunities in the two sectors mentioned above, where there is still major potential to be tapped by Italian firms.
