The Italian Ambassador, <strong>Giorgio Marrapodi<\/strong>, the Director of the Institute, <strong>Salvatore Schirmo<\/strong>, the Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Rome, <strong>Miguel Gotor<\/strong>, and important Turkish institutional representatives will extend their greetings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event, which will be held at <strong>Teatro Casa d&#8217;Italia<\/strong>, will be attended by Italian and Turkish scholars with the aim of deepening the various aspects of the artist&#8217;s work with regard to the relations of the time between Italy and T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Italian sculptor Pietro Canonica (1869-1959) worked not only in Italy and T\u00fcrkiye but also in several countries, including Russia, England, Colombia and Argentina.
