8th WEEK OF ITALIAN CUISINE IN THE WORLD<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

“At the Table with Italian Cuisine:\u00a0Wellbeing\u00a0with Taste”<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The Conference to present the\u00a08th Week of Italian Cuisine in the World<\/b>, entitled “At the Table with Italian Cuisine: Wellbeing with Taste”, will be held at the\u00a0Farnesina<\/i>\u00a0– International Conference Hall – on\u00a0Friday 10 November 2023, at 3:00 p.m<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Conference will be opened by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0Antonio Tajani<\/b>, the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry,\u00a0Francesco Lollobrigida<\/b>\u00a0and the Minister of Sport,\u00a0Andrea Abodi<\/b>, together with authoritative representatives from the Italian agri-industrial production chain, including ICE, Filiera Italia and the Federation of Italian\u00a0Chef<\/i>s. A\u00a0Cooperation Protocol between MAECI and the Federation of Italian\u00a0Chefs<\/i><\/b>\u00a0is planned to be signed during the event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now in its eighth edition, the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is an\u00a0integrated promotion initiative<\/b>\u00a0that aims to enhance the excellence of the\u00a0Italian food and wine sector<\/b>\u00a0abroad, by supporting exports, internationalization and incoming tourist flows.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over\u00a09,200 initiatives<\/b>\u00a0have been organized in this context from 2016 to date by the network of Italian Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutes in\u00a0more than 100 countries<\/b>, which include in-depth workshops on the Mediterranean diet; meetings with economic operators in the sector; training and demonstration classes, as well as meetings with\u00a0chefs<\/i>. Among the\u00a0over one thousand initiatives<\/b>\u00a0planned for the 2023 edition, “Italianismi nel mondo<\/i><\/b>,” in collaboration with\u00a0Casa Artusi<\/i>; “Storia della cucina italiana a fumetti<\/i><\/b>,” in collaboration with the Italian Academy of Cuisine; and a\u00a0project to promote Italian olive oil and wine in Africa<\/b>, in collaboration with\u00a0Gambero Rosso<\/i>, will be presented in many countries. The Conference will also be an opportunity to present the so-called “Cucina delle radici<\/i><\/b>” initiative, in collaboration with\u00a0La Cucina Italiana<\/i> magazine, which will be implemented during 2024.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will be\u00a0streamed\u00a0<\/b>on the Farnesina\u2019s Youtube channel.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
