{"id":107801,"date":"2023-11-10T13:36:18","date_gmt":"2023-11-10T12:36:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2023\/11\/a-sarajevo-una-conversazione-con-gianrico-carofiglio\/"},"modified":"2023-11-13T09:52:33","modified_gmt":"2023-11-13T08:52:33","slug":"a-sarajevo-una-conversazione-con-gianrico-carofiglio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/retediplomatica\/2023\/11\/a-sarajevo-una-conversazione-con-gianrico-carofiglio\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cA Conversation with Gianrico Carofiglio\u201d in Sarajevo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the <strong>\u201cWeek of the Italian Language in the World\u201d<\/strong>, the <strong>Italian Embassy in Sarajevo<\/strong> organised, in collaboration with the local <strong>Dante Alighieri<\/strong> <strong>Society<\/strong>, the event <strong><em>\u201cUna conversazione con Gianrico Carofiglio\u201d<\/em><\/strong> (A Conversation with Gianrico Carofiglio), an Italian writer whose works are gaining increasing interest on the Bosnian-Herzegovinian market.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Introducing the event, which was a great success, the Italian Ambassador in Sarajevo <strong>Marco Di Ruzza<\/strong> underlined that the presence of a prestigious and world-famous writer such as <strong>Gianrico Carofiglio<\/strong> attested to the Embassy&#8217;s focus and commitment to <strong>cultural diplomacy<\/strong>, and to its recognition of the valuable <strong>contribution<\/strong> <strong>made to the processes of reconciliation and social cohesion in the country by the magnificent unifying force of culture and art<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter the Sarajevo date of the Sanremo Giovani World Tour &#8211; the successful concert of Maestro <strong>Riccardo Muti<\/strong> celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Sarajevo Philharmonic &#8211; and the presentation of the executive design study for the <strong>Ars Aevi<\/strong> Museum of Contemporary Art, financed by <strong>AICS<\/strong>, the meeting with Gianrico Carofiglio was yet another piece in this splendid <strong>Italian cultural autumn<\/strong> in Sarajevo\u201d said Di Ruzza. Among the audience was the <strong>Minister of Justice<\/strong> of the Sarajevo Canton, <strong>Darja Softic Kadenic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event consisted of a chat between Carofiglio and the moderator, <strong>Elvira Mujcic<\/strong>, a Bosnian-Herzegovinian writer naturalised Italian.
