The Minister of University and Research,\u00a0<b>Anna Maria Bernini<\/b>, the Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy,\u00a0<b>Adolfo Urso<\/b>, the Minister of Health,\u00a0<b>Orazio Schillaci<\/b>\u00a0and the US Ambassador to Italy,\u00a0<b>Jack Markell<\/b>, will then speak.<\/span><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The event will focus on Italy&#8217;s growing role in the biotechnology sector, which sees a fruitful interaction between the public and private sectors, involving pharmaceuticals, chemistry, medical devices and biotech, increasingly strategic in light of the recent pandemic experience. This is the first high-level institutional and business meeting between Italian and US stakeholders active in the biotech and life sciences sector.<\/span><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The works, which will include several thematic sessions and round tables with representatives from the business, scientific and pharmaceutical industries, will be moderated by\u00a0<b>Massimo Sideri<\/b>, columnist for Corriere della Sera and professor at Luiss.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The event will be streamed live on the Farnesina YouTube channel.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in\u00a0<b>attending<\/b>\u00a0the event may apply for accreditation by sending a request\u00a0<b><u>by Monday, 13 November at 1:00 p.m.<\/u><\/b>, to\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/span><\/a><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0(tel. 06 3691 3432 &#8211;
