{"id":108449,"date":"2023-11-23T13:58:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-23T12:58:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2023\/11\/varsavia-forum-aerospaziale-italo-polacco\/"},"modified":"2023-11-23T15:53:24","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T14:53:24","slug":"varsavia-forum-aerospaziale-italo-polacco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/retediplomatica\/2023\/11\/varsavia-forum-aerospaziale-italo-polacco\/","title":{"rendered":"Warsaw, Italian-Polish Aerospace Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The third edition of the <strong>Italian-Polish Aerospace Forum<\/strong> was held today in <strong>Warsaw<\/strong>, organised by the<strong> Italian Embassy <\/strong>and the <strong>Italian Trade Agency &#8211;<\/strong> <strong>Warsaw Office<\/strong>, in cooperation with the <strong>Italian<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Chamber of Commerce<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Industry in Poland<\/strong>\u00a0and with the support of <strong>Leonardo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Against the backdrop of an increasingly unstable security environment, military experts, analysts and entrepreneurs from the two countries discussed an issue &#8211; that of the aerospace and defence industry &#8211; that remains central to the security of citizens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThis is a high-tech sector with very high costs also in terms of research and development. It is therefore crucial to encourage as many <strong>cooperation<\/strong>\u00a0initiatives as possible between friendly countries, such as Poland and Italy, in order to achieve maximum synergies\u201d,<strong> Ambassador Luca Franchetti Pardo <\/strong>emphasised at the opening of the event. He was echoed by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Technology, <strong>Kamila Krol<\/strong>, who dwelt on space policy: this, if \u201cproperly conducted and coordinated, can contribute to the implementation of a sustainable and ecological European policy, as well as ensuring Europe&#8217;s pioneering role in protecting the Earth and the space environment for future generations\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Forum allowed participants to explore models and practices of virtuous action, with the aim of strengthening<strong> integration<\/strong>\u00a0between Italy and Poland in highly competitive global sectors. It was divided into two panels, dedicated to highly interconnected aspects: the concrete possibilities of increasing <strong>industrial cooperation<\/strong>\u00a0between Italy and Poland, with a specific focus on Poland&#8217;s defence sector, and the impact that the development of the aerospace industry can generate on a country\u2019s<strong> innovation<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>competitiveness<\/strong>.
