{"id":108867,"date":"2023-12-01T15:51:32","date_gmt":"2023-12-01T14:51:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2023\/12\/il-cinema-italiano-ritorna-a-praga-con-mittlecinemafest\/"},"modified":"2023-12-01T17:22:56","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T16:22:56","slug":"il-cinema-italiano-ritorna-a-praga-con-mittlecinemafest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/retediplomatica\/2023\/12\/il-cinema-italiano-ritorna-a-praga-con-mittlecinemafest\/","title":{"rendered":"Italian cinema returns to Prague with MittleCinemaFest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Italian Embassy in Prague,<\/strong> together with the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute<\/strong>, has launched the Central European festival of contemporary Italian cinema <strong>MittelCinemaFest,<\/strong> now in its 11th edition in the Czech Republic, with a series of films on screen from 30 November to 6 December.<\/p>\n<p>Italian <strong>Ambassador Mauro Marsili<\/strong> remarked on the <strong>networking<\/strong> capacity of the Italian Economic System, as the initiative is made possible thanks to a collaboration between <strong>Cinecitt\u00e0<\/strong> and the <strong>Italian Embassies<\/strong> <strong>and Cultural Institutes<\/strong> in Central Europe (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary), and at the local level thanks to the support of the <strong>Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry<\/strong>, the <strong>Lucerna cinema<\/strong>, as well as <strong>distribution companies<\/strong>, a number of <strong>Italian business groups<\/strong> operating in the country and several <strong>media partners<\/strong>. \u201cI would like to thank all those who contributed to making this event possible\u201d, added <strong>Marsili<\/strong>, \u201cI am certain that this year&#8217;s <strong>MittelCinemaFest<\/strong> will continue to grow, offering the very best that the Italian film industry has to offer\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cItalian cinema\u201d, stressed the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, <strong>Vito De Bellis<\/strong>, \u201chas always been capable of eliciting great emotions. Moreover, the films presented this year boast exceptional casts, confirming the immense value of actors who are sometimes already well known to the local audience: from Toni Servillo to Valerio Mastrandrea to Alba Rohrwacher and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, as well as Paola Cortellesi, just to name a few\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The festival will feature nine films, including a number of interesting debut films.
