Conference of Italian Ambassadors in the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On <strong>Monday 18<\/strong> and <strong>Tuesday 19 December 2023<\/strong>, the Farnesina will host the <strong>Conference of Italian Ambassadors in the world<\/strong>, an opportunity to discuss Italy\u2019s international action, which will bring together over <strong>130 heads of Italian diplomatic missions throughout the world<\/strong>, as well as many Government Ministers and foreign leaders, including the EU Commissioner for Climate Action, <strong>Wopke Hoekstra<\/strong>, the British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, <strong>David Cameron<\/strong>, and the US Secretary of State, <strong>Anthony Blinken<\/strong> (via videomessage).<\/p>\n<p>The Conference, realised with the media partnership of <strong>RAI<\/strong> and <strong>ANSA<\/strong>, will provide an opportunity to reflect on the role and tools available to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to support the <strong>promotion of our national interest in the world<\/strong> and the <strong>value of dialogue<\/strong>, also in view of the Italian G7 Presidency in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The opening and closing sessions and the session on the Italian G7 Presidency will be open to the press and streamed on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@MinisteroEsteri\">Farnesina\u2019s YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>opening session<\/strong> will take place on <strong>Monday 18 December<\/strong> from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with addresses by the President of the Republic, <strong>Sergio Mattarella<\/strong>, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. <strong>Antonio Tajani.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 19<\/strong> at 4:00 pm the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. <strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, and the British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development, <strong>David Cameron<\/strong>, will hold a joint press point.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>closing session<\/strong> will take place on <strong>Tuesday 19 December<\/strong> from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. with addresses by the Prime Minister, Hon. <strong>Giorgia Meloni<\/strong>, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. <strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The other working sessions \u2013 which will focus on the main topics of international current affairs (artificial intelligence, Mattei Plan, growth diplomacy, crisis scenario management, sustainability and ecological transition, G7 Presidency) \u2013 will take
