Students following Italian courses organised stands at the city\u2019s recent cultural festival to illustrate their work during the academic year. Over 40% of Bahia Blanca\u2019s 300,000-plus inhabitants are Italian, including the mayor, Gustavo Bevilacqua and the archbishop, Guglielmo Garlatti.<BR>\u00a0<BR>The initiative was supported by our Consulate General in the city and is just one of the activities implemented by the Farnesina\u2019s diplomatic network to promote Italian.
