L\u2019Italia che corre\u201d <\/em><\/strong>(The 107th Giro d&#8217;Italia, an Italy that runs<strong>) <\/strong>will be held in the Sala Mosaici of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Farnesina).<\/p>\n<p>The event will be opened by Italy&#8217;s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation <strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>. The President of RCS <strong>Urbano Cairo<\/strong>, the President of the Italian Trade Agency &#8211; ICE <strong>Matteo Zoppas<\/strong>, and the President of Confindustria-ANCMA <strong>Mariano Roman<\/strong>, as well as a number of companies representing the sector, sponsors of Giro d\u2019Italia, and Italian champions will also take the floor.<\/p>\n<p>The Giro d\u2019Italia is not only a major sports event, but also an instrument of diplomacy and promotion of the Italy brand in the world, which narrates, through its protagonists, the sector\u2019s supply chains, from the sports sector to the artistic and cultural heritage industry. Great attention will also be paid to the \u201cmade in Italy\u201d communication campaign connected to the Giro, which, leveraging on the international exposure offered by the event, will also focus on innovation, technological research, environmental sustainability, health and inclusiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative is part of the economic-commercial, cultural, scientific and business internationalisation promotion strategy conducted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI) in synergy with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and all the other players of the Italian economic system.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be streamed live on the Farnesina YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in <strong>attending<\/strong> the event may apply for accreditation by sending a request by <strong><u>Monday 25 March at 4:00 p.m.<\/u><\/strong> to <a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a> (tel. 06 3691 3432 &#8211; 8573 \u2013 3078 or 8210), attaching the following<\/p>\n<p>For representatives of Italian press organisations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document<\/li>\n<li>letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or &#8211; in the absence of the latter &#8211; copy of professional identity card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For representatives of foreign press organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter from the newspaper of affiliation;<\/li>\n<li>Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/p>\n<p>Accredited journalists, photographers and cameramen may enter the Farnesina from the main entrance, left side, <strong>from 9:10 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. <\/strong>on 26 March.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016\/679) by the <strong>Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/strong>, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and\/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE \u201cIL 107MO GIRO D\u2019ITALIA: L\u2019ITALIA CHE CORRE\u201d \u2013 Farnesina 26 MARCH 2024\u00a0 \u00a0 On Tuesday 26 March 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the event \u201cIl 107mo Giro d\u2019Italia.
