Celebration of Ayrton Senna\u2019s 30-year legacy <\/strong><\/p>\n

(Imola – 1 May 2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Wednesday 1 May, from 1:30 p.m., at the \u201cEnzo e Dino Ferrari\u201d Circuit in Imola<\/strong>, <\/strong>Italy\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani will take part in the celebration of the 30-year legacy of Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna, together with the Minister of Foreign Relations of Brazil, Mauro Vieira<\/strong>, <\/strong>and the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, <\/strong>Alexander Schallenberg<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The institutional ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m.<\/strong> with speeches by the Mayor of Imola, Marco Panieri, by Minister Tajani, Minister Vieira, Minister Schallenberg and Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.<\/p>\n

The programme of the ceremony includes a one-minute silence and the laying of flowers at Curva Tamburello<\/strong> at 2:17 p.m., followed by another laying of flowers at Curva Villeneuve<\/strong> in memory of Roland Ratzenberger.<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending the event may apply for accreditation by sending a request by Tuesday 30 April at 5:00 p.m.<\/u><\/strong> to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a> (tel06 3691 3432 \u2013 8573 \u2013 3078 or 8210), attaching the following:<\/p>\n

For representatives of Italian press organisations:<\/p>\n

* copy of an identity document;<\/p>\n

* letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter – copy of professional identity card.<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:<\/p>\n

* copy of an identity document;<\/p>\n

* letter from the newspaper of affiliation;<\/p>\n

* Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/p>\n

Representatives of the accredited press and photographers and cameramen interested in following the commemoration event must present themselves at the Imola Circuit, in a dedicated area of the Curva del Tamburello, from 1:30 p.m. on 1 May 2024.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

A hospitality area for journalists will be set up from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Ayrton Senna room on the ground floor of the Circuit.<\/p>\n

Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016\/679) by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and\/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.<\/em><\/p>\n
