Antonio Tajani<\/b>, will open the Conference for presenting the project\u00a0<b><i>Sport e Innovazione Made in Italy<\/i><\/b>. It is an initiative that seals the launch of a strategic partnership between the Foreign Ministry,\u00a0<i>Sport e Salute<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>ICE-Agenzia<\/i>, with the aim of promoting Italian excellence and Made in Italy in the world through sport and innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The Minister for Sport and Youth,\u00a0<b>Andrea Abodi<\/b>, the Presidents of the Italian Swimming Federation,\u00a0<b>Paolo Barelli<\/b>, the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation,\u00a0<b>Angelo Binaghi<\/b>, the Italian Athletics Federation,\u00a0<b>Stefano Mei<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; who are collaborating with\u00a0<i>Sport e Salute<\/i>\u00a0on the project &#8211; the President of\u00a0<i>ICE Agenzia<\/i>,\u00a0<b>Matteo Zoppas<\/b>, and the President of\u00a0<i>Sport e Salute<\/i>,\u00a0<b>Marco Mezzaroma<\/b>, will be present. The same holds true for the Olympic and multiple World Champion swimmer,\u00a0<b>Gregorio Paltrinieri<\/b>, the Olympic 4X100 metres relay champion,\u00a0<b>Lorenzo Patta<\/b>, the Davis Cup captain,\u00a0<b>Filippo Volandri<\/b>, and the world athletics champion,\u00a0<b>Fiona May<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Between May and June, the\u00a0<i>Foro Italico<\/i>\u00a0in Rome will host three\u00a0<b>major sporting events<\/b>: the \u00a0<i>Internazionali BNL d&#8217;Italia<\/i>\u00a0Tennis Championships, the European Athletics Championships, and the Swimming Championships\u00a0<i>Internazionali di Nuoto IP<\/i>\u00a0<i>Trofeo Sette Colli<\/i>. Pivoting on the significant international profile and visibility of the events, from May until September 2024 a\u00a0<b>structured promotional campaign<\/b>\u00a0will be conducted with targeted initiatives, events, content, and exclusive interviews, in which the involvement of great champions is envisaged.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The meeting will be\u00a0<b>streamed live on the Foreign Ministry&#8217;s YouTube channel<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the event\u00a0<b>in person<\/b>\u00a0may apply for accreditation by sending a request\u00a0<b><u>by Tuesday 7 May at 6:00 p.m.\u00a0<\/u><\/b>to<b>\u00a0<u>\u00a0<\/u><\/b><\/span><a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/span><\/b><\/a><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0(tel. 06\/3691-3432 \u2013 8573-3078-8210), attaching the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">for representatives of Italian press organisations:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">copy of an identity document;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or \u2013 in the absence of the latter \u2013 copy of professional identity card;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">For representatives of foreign press organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">copy of an identity document;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">letter from the newspaper of affiliation;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Verbal Note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request shall be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Accredited journalists and cameramen may have access to the Foreign Ministry from the main entrance, left side,\u00a0<b>from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m.\u00a0<\/b>on 8 May 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof, in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016\/679), by the\u00a0<b>Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/b>, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and\/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE \u201cSport e Innovazione Made in Italy\u201d (Farnesina, 8 May 2024) &nbsp; On 8 May 2024, at 11.00 a.m., in the\u00a0Sala dei Trattati\u00a0at the Foreign Ministry, the\u00a0Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon.
