Tomorrow morning, the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will speak at the B7 Summit, to be held at Confindustria\u2019s Auditorium della Tecnica. With Italy\u2019s G7 Presidency, Confindustria has taken on the leadership of the \u201cBusiness 7 \u2013 B7\u201d group, which includes the industrial federations of the G7 countries and the European business federation, i.e. Business Europe.<\/p>\n
\u201cMaintaining an open trading system, achieving energy transition and diversifying strategic supply markets are crucial issues that I have placed at the heart of Italy\u2019s G7 Presidency,\u201d commented Tajani, who emphasised the Italian government\u2019s constant commitment to Italian businesses, supporting their exports and protecting their interests even in the face of the uncertainties of the current global context.<\/p>\n
The meeting will be opened by the President-in-Office, Emma Marcegaglia, and G7 Sherpa Ambassador Elisabetta Belloni. The UK Minister of Industry and Economic Security of the Department for Business and Trade, Alan Mak, will also speak, together with the heads of major Italian industrial groups, including the CEO of Leonardo, Roberto Cingolani, the CEO of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Dario Scannapieco, and the Vice President of Pirelli, Marco Tronchetti Provera.<\/p>\n
The B7 identified four thematic priorities \u2013 the impact of the geopolitical landscape on supply chains; energy, climate and environmental transitions; the data economy and digital technologies; and enhancing talent potential and social welfare systems.
