{"id":123419,"date":"2024-09-23T13:23:05","date_gmt":"2024-09-23T11:23:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2024\/09\/il-progetto-internazionale-beyond-borders-a-tunisi\/"},"modified":"2024-09-23T20:03:52","modified_gmt":"2024-09-23T18:03:52","slug":"il-progetto-internazionale-beyond-borders-a-tunisi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2024\/09\/il-progetto-internazionale-beyond-borders-a-tunisi\/","title":{"rendered":"The International Project \u201cBeyond Borders\u201d in Tunis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The international project \u201c<strong>Beyond Borders<\/strong>\u201d &#8211; directed by <strong><em>Instabili Vaganti<\/em><\/strong> and supported by <strong>MiC,<\/strong> as part of the \u201c<strong>Boarding Pass Plus 2022-24<\/strong>\u201d program &#8211; opened its doors to the public at the end of a <strong>first stage<\/strong> in <strong>Tunis<\/strong>, which took place from 5 to 8 September 2024, presenting a first \u201cwork in progress\u201d on 13 September at the Sala Bernard Turin of the <strong><em>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National Tunisienne<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The founders of the company &#8211; the director and actress Anna Dora <strong>Dorno<\/strong>, and the performer and playwright, Nicola <strong>Pianzola<\/strong>, assisted by two of the artists of the project, the dancer Camilla <strong>Paris<\/strong>, and the performer Mouayed <strong>El Ghazouani<\/strong> &#8211; have in fact held an intensive 4-day workshop with 12 Tunisian artists, including actors, performers and dancers, to select the team that will be involved in the co-production <strong><em>Fronti\u00e8res # Tunisie<\/em><\/strong>, a collaboration between <strong><em>Instabili Vaganti<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Theatre National Tunisienne<\/em><\/strong> and the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute of Tunis<\/strong>, which will open in <strong>November 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This first study is the result of a <strong>research process<\/strong> <strong>on the theme of \u201cborder\u201d,<\/strong> developed by <em>Instabili Vaganti<\/em> together with the participants of the workshop, called to transpose their reflections on the proposed themes into stage actions.<\/p>\n<p>The performers have delved into their own <strong>cultural and performing traditions<\/strong>, to understand the present and narrating &#8211; through gestures, actions, texts and songs &#8211; the limits they have had to overcome, the borders they have tried to cross to assert their identity, and the new challenges ahead of them.<\/p>\n<p>A journey backwards on a circular line of time, which triggers a <strong>dance of distance<\/strong>, a call echoing like a song that comes from the other side of a border.
