{"id":123550,"date":"2024-09-25T11:21:56","date_gmt":"2024-09-25T09:21:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2024\/09\/conferenza-internazionale-italia-bulgaria-archeologia-e-architettura\/"},"modified":"2024-09-25T14:09:30","modified_gmt":"2024-09-25T12:09:30","slug":"conferenza-internazionale-italia-bulgaria-archeologia-e-architettura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2024\/09\/conferenza-internazionale-italia-bulgaria-archeologia-e-architettura\/","title":{"rendered":"Italy-Bulgaria International Conference &#8220;Archaeology and Architecture&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Italian Ambassador in Sofia<\/strong>, Giuseppina <strong>Zarra<\/strong>, inaugurated the fourth edition of the <strong>international forum<\/strong> &#8220;Bratsigovo \u2013 The Stone Stream of Time,&#8221; the Italy-Bulgaria International Conference <strong>&#8220;Archaeology and Architecture \u2013 Achievements and Perspectives<\/strong>,&#8221; organised by the <strong>Italian Embassy in Sofia<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute, Italian Trade Agency, <\/strong>and<strong> Confindustria Bulgaria<\/strong>, alongside the <strong>Municipality of Bratsigovo<\/strong> and the local <strong>Chambers of Architects and Builders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s edition, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria, took place from 12 to 14 September and featured a series of <strong>conferences, workshops, and an official round table<\/strong>, accompanied by <strong>art exhibitions<\/strong> and an <strong>Italian choral performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of this edition focused on the <strong>exchange of technical knowledge<\/strong> and experiences <strong>between Italy and Bulgaria<\/strong> in the fields of <strong>archaeology<\/strong> and <strong>architecture<\/strong>. Several Italian speakers and experts participated (Andrea <strong>Griletto<\/strong> \u2013 Director of Assorestauro in Italy; Stefano <strong>Borghini<\/strong> \u2013 Colosseum Archaeological Park; Vincenzo <strong>Calvanese<\/strong> \u2013 Pompeii Archaeological Park), as well as Bulgarian representatives from the sector, who signed a <strong>memorandum of partnership<\/strong> in the field of immovable cultural <strong>heritage conservation<\/strong>, traditions, architecture, archaeology, and the arts.<\/p>\n<p>In her address, <strong>Ambassador Zarra<\/strong> highlighted the importance of <strong>exchanging<\/strong> experiences and best practices between Bulgaria and Italy in the field of <strong>cultural heritage<\/strong> preservation and <strong>enhancement<\/strong>.
