{"id":123684,"date":"2024-09-26T15:26:53","date_gmt":"2024-09-26T13:26:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2024\/09\/parigi-wartime-notes-di-barbara-cupisti-allunesco\/"},"modified":"2024-09-26T16:57:06","modified_gmt":"2024-09-26T14:57:06","slug":"parigi-wartime-notes-di-barbara-cupisti-allunesco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2024\/09\/parigi-wartime-notes-di-barbara-cupisti-allunesco\/","title":{"rendered":"Paris \u2013 \u201cWartime Notes\u201d by Barbara Cupisti at UNESCO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to the synergy between the <strong>Permanent Representations of Italy and Poland<\/strong>, the docu-film <strong>\u201cWartime Notes\u201d<\/strong> by Italian director Barbara <strong>Cupisti<\/strong>, produced by <strong>Clipper Media<\/strong> with <strong>Rai Cinema<\/strong>, was screened at the <strong>UNESCO Headquarters <\/strong>in <strong>Paris<\/strong> on 23 September.<\/p>\n<p>The film, already shown last April at the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute in Paris<\/strong> and presented yesterday to the <strong>delegates of the 194 Member States of the International Organisation<\/strong>, recounts the <strong>daily lives of Ukrainian men and women<\/strong> who, faced with the sudden and tragic upheaval of their lives due to the <strong>Russian aggression<\/strong>, try to devise ways and forms of <strong>resistance<\/strong> and <strong>survival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The documentary was screened in the prestigious UNESCO Headquarters Auditorium. The film was preceded by speeches by the <strong>Permanent Representative of Italy to UNESCO, Ambassador<\/strong> Liborio <strong>Stellino<\/strong>, and the <strong>Permanent Representative of Poland to UNESCO<\/strong>, <strong>Ambassador<\/strong> Mariusz <strong>Lewicki<\/strong>, the latter on behalf of the <strong>\u201cGroup of friends of Ukraine\u201d<\/strong>, set up within the UNESCO and supporting the Italian initiative. Interventions by <strong>Rai Cinema President<\/strong> Nicola <strong>Claudio<\/strong> and <strong>director<\/strong> Barbara <strong>Cupisti<\/strong> followed, both highlighting the role of art as an instrument of multilateral dialogue.
