The project, curated by Antonello <strong>Migliozzi<\/strong> and Marco <strong>Marotta<\/strong>, benefits from the collaboration of the <strong>Museum Centre of Agricultural Sciences (MUSA) <\/strong>at the University of Naples Federico II, and its director, Prof. Stefano <strong>Mazzoleni<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition showcases the work of<strong> Italian artist Adriana Pignatelli Mangoni<\/strong>, inspired by the <strong>18th- and 19th-century travellers<\/strong> who visited Italy as part of the so-called <strong>Grand Tour<\/strong>. The exchange of ideas in Europe between writers, scientists, and poets of the time contributed to the development of a shared sense of European values. This was because, upon returning home, those travellers would recount, write, and paint what they had seen in the lands of <strong>ancient Magna Graecia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The project tells a <strong>story through images<\/strong>, tracing the <strong>path<\/strong> <strong>of<\/strong> active <strong>volcanoes<\/strong> from the <strong>Phlegraean Fields<\/strong> and <strong>Vesuvius<\/strong> to the largely underwater arc that includes <strong>Stromboli<\/strong> and <strong>Vulcano<\/strong>, ending with the complex of Mount <strong>Etna<\/strong>.
