{"id":125014,"date":"2024-10-18T09:38:01","date_gmt":"2024-10-18T07:38:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2024\/10\/a-doha-la-festa-della-repubblica-dei-piccoli\/"},"modified":"2024-10-18T13:17:52","modified_gmt":"2024-10-18T11:17:52","slug":"a-doha-la-festa-della-repubblica-dei-piccoli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2024\/10\/a-doha-la-festa-della-repubblica-dei-piccoli\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cFesta della Repubblica dei Piccoli\u201d celebrated in Doha"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Embassy of Italy in Doha<\/strong>, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCTI), has organised the <strong>third edition<\/strong> of the <strong><em>\u201cFesta della Repubblica dei Piccoli\u201d<\/em><\/strong> (Italian National Day for Children), held at the ACS International School Doha on 17 October.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of the<strong> \u201cWeek of the Italian Language in the World\u201d<\/strong>, the event was dedicated to <strong>Italian and Qatari children<\/strong> between the ages of 3 and 12 and offered both interactive workshops and cultural activities, with the aim of promoting in the younger generations the profound <strong>value of friendship<\/strong> that unites <strong>Italy<\/strong> and <strong>Qatar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the support of the MCTI through Studio 5, the event focused on <strong>\u201cTechnology&amp;Culture\u201d<\/strong>. The activities were inspired by Italian and Qatari culture and gave young participants the opportunity to explore technology and innovation in <strong>four thematic workshops<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The project was implemented in cooperation with the <strong>ACS International School Doha<\/strong>, where a comprehensive programme of <strong>curricular <\/strong>and<strong> extracurricular workshops dedicated to Italian culture<\/strong> was launched in September. Activities included <strong>interactive language games<\/strong> focused on <strong>Italian vocabulary<\/strong> (specifically related to book vocabulary or quotes from Italian literature), <strong>cultural quizzes<\/strong> on <strong>Italian books<\/strong>, and <strong>role-plays<\/strong> to converse in Italian. In addition, the children created posters inspired by Italian culture and participated in <strong>multimedia<\/strong> presentations, where students produced a video in which they interviewed peers about Italian words.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to celebrate, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the third edition of the Italian National Day for Children,\u201d said Italian <strong>Ambassador<\/strong> Paolo <strong>Toschi<\/strong> together with his <strong>wife<\/strong>, Federica <strong>Cellini Toschi<\/strong>, adding that \u201cThis event not only strengthens the <strong>cultural ties between Italy and Qatar<\/strong>, but also offers young people a unique opportunity to explore the beauty and richness of our <strong>traditions<\/strong> while discovering the technologies of the <strong>future<\/strong>.
