Bassano is renowned for his vivid and detailed depictions of rural life and his religious compositions. The <strong>34 works <\/strong>on display will remain at the Sinebrychoff Art Museum <strong>until 12 January 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition, titled &#8220;<strong>Jacopo Bassano \u2013 Master of the Venetian Renaissance<\/strong>&#8220;, was inaugurated by the <strong>Italian Ambassador<\/strong>, Sergio <strong>Pagano<\/strong>, and the <strong>Museum Director<\/strong>, Dr Kirsi <strong>Eskelinen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is the result of extensive international collaboration and was made possible with the support of the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute of Helsinki<\/strong>. It covers nearly <strong>three decades of the painter&#8217;s work<\/strong>, highlighting the different phases of his artistic journey.<\/p>\n<p>The opening event featured speeches by Ambassador Pagano and Director Eskelinen, and was attended by numerous members of the press as well as figures from the Finnish cultural and artistic community, reflecting the <strong>strong cultural ties between Italy and Finland<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"An exhibition on Jacopo Da Ponte, known as Jacopo Bassano, one of the most important painters of the Italian Renaissance, has been inaugurated at the Sinebrychoff Art Museum in Helsinki.
