Fragments of Italian Beauty<\/strong>&#8221; is a collection of fifty images by Valerio <strong>Corzani<\/strong>. Inaugurated on 25 September, it will be on display at the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute of Lyon<\/strong> until 21 November.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the exhibition is <strong>to document beauty<\/strong> through <strong>geometric forms<\/strong>, uncovering perimeter affinities and transforming landscapes or details into something <strong>unexpected<\/strong> through this perspective, a &#8220;<strong>poetics of the gaze<\/strong>&#8220;. The result is a mapping of glimpses of Italian <strong>cities<\/strong> and <strong>landscapes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Valerio <strong>Corzani<\/strong> is a photographer, journalist, author, radio presenter, musician, and globetrotter. He is one of the most recognisable voices of <strong>Radio3 Rai<\/strong> and <strong>Swiss Italian Radio<\/strong>, and writes for <strong><em>Il Manifesto<\/em>, <em>Alias<\/em>, <em>Lonely Planet<\/em>, <em>Blogfoolk<\/em>,<\/strong> and <strong><em>Exibart<\/em><\/strong>. As a musician, he has performed and recorded in numerous projects, including <strong>Mau Mau, Mazapegul, Daunbail\u00f2, Interiors, Caracas, Teresa De Sio, Luigi Cinque, and Shuttle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The exhibition &#8220;Geometry of Enchantment.
