{"id":12516,"date":"2014-06-24T12:23:02","date_gmt":"2014-06-24T10:23:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2014\/06\/20140624_culturamoscacinemaitaliano-2\/"},"modified":"2014-06-24T12:23:02","modified_gmt":"2014-06-24T10:23:02","slug":"20140624_culturamoscacinemaitaliano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/approfondimenti\/2014\/06\/20140624_culturamoscacinemaitaliano\/","title":{"rendered":"Culture &#8211;  Moscow celebrates Italian cinema"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>The Italian embassy in Moscow dedicated a special evening to the presentation of the film \u201cAmori elementari\u201d within the context of the 36th Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF).<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Film world personalities and leaders in the latest Italo-Russian co-productions participated in the event, which was organised to celebrate cinema as \u201can important vehicle for dialogue and understanding between Italy and Russia where, in the great Neo-Realist tradition, Italian filmmaking continues to act as an exceptional ambassador for Italy\u201d<A name=_GoBack><\/A>, said Italian ambassador Cesare Ragaglini.<\/P><br \/>\n<P><STRONG><\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P><STRONG>50-year Italy-Russia collaboration<\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P><STRONG><\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P>A full 50 years of collaboration have linked Italy with Russia, he added, and produced works on the caliber of \u201cI girasoli\u201d (1970) directed by Vittorio De Sica, with Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni, \u201cWaterloo\u201d (1970), winner of the 1971 Donatello Prize, \u201cThe Projectionist\u201d, by Andreiy Konchalovsky (1991), and the celebrated \u201cOci Ciornie\u201d (1987), with Marcello Mastroianni and Silvana Mangano and directed by Nikita Mikhalkov, MIFF Director and special guest of the evening at Villa Berg. \u201cAmori elementari\u201d, shot in Rome, the Dolomites and Moscow, was chosen by the event\u2019s organisers for its highly resonant social message, MIFF communications director Piotr Shepotinnik explained.<\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Italian embassy in Moscow dedicated a special evening to the presentation of the film \u201cAmori elementari\u201d within the context of the 36th Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF).
