Each film reflects different themes, styles, and narratives, offering a snapshot of the evolution of Italian cinema over more than half a century.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Institute has been a long-time partner and supporter of the Chicago International Film Festival, and we are proud of the steady growth of our collaborations,\u201d says <strong>Luca Di Vito<\/strong>, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago. \u201cThe <strong><em>ITALIAN WOMEN DIRECT<\/em><\/strong> retrospective is our latest joint project, focusing on the <strong>role of Italian women directors in the Festival\u2019s history<\/strong> and their contributions to shaping the future of cinema.
