On 21 November, in addition to Minister Tajani\u2019s speech, the official opening session will include those of the three Presidents \u2013 Patrick Martin of MEDEF, Emanuele Orsini of Confindustria, and Tanja G\u00f6nner of BDI, as well as the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.<\/p>\n<p>As the mandate of the new European Executive dawns and the US Administration changes, the meeting will focus on ways to strengthen European competitiveness and funding for the triple green, digital and demographic transition, while addressing the repositioning of the European Union on the international stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s meeting is particularly important, as Europe is facing strategic challenges to maintain its international role,\u201d said Minister Tajani. \u201cWe need to identify concrete actions to relaunch European competitiveness, starting with a new industrial policy, as based on a pragmatic approach to energy transition, the development of technological innovation, and simplification,\u201d explained the Minister.
