The <strong>exhibition \u201cViaggio in Italia<\/strong>\u201d, curated by Matteo <strong>Balduzzi<\/strong>, presents the works of authors such as Gabriele <strong>Basilico<\/strong>, Mario <strong>Cresci<\/strong>, Luigi <strong>Ghirri<\/strong>, Guido <strong>Guidi<\/strong>, and Mimmo <strong>Jodice<\/strong>. It also celebrates the first forty years of Ghirri\u2019s project of the same name (<strong>1984<\/strong>), a milestone in the history of Italian photography.<\/p>\n<p>The 86 images from the <strong>original catalogue of \u201cViaggio in Italia<\/strong>\u201d are also included in an anastatic reprint of the document.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative is realised by the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the <strong>Italian Ministry of Culture <\/strong>and <strong>MUFOCO<\/strong> \u2013 Museum of Contemporary Photography, in collaboration with the Luigi Ghirri Heirs Archive.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Until 8 January 2025, Italian photography will play a leading role at the Italian Cultural Institute of Paris.
