Information about events in Milan will be communicated with a separate accreditation note.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Monday 16 December \u2013 Farnesina, Italian Foreign Ministry<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10:00 a.m.: family photo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10:30 a.m.: inaugural session<\/strong>\u00a0with speeches by the President of the Republic,\u00a0<strong>Sergio Mattarella<\/strong>, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<strong>Antonio Tajani (<u>RAI AND OFFICIALS ONLY<\/u>).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>11:30 a.m.: first session\u00a0<\/strong>on the theme \u201c<strong>Peace and negotiations. International scenarios<\/strong>\u201d, with speeches by Minister\u00a0<strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation,\u00a0<strong>Ignazio Cassis<\/strong>\u00a0and the Director General of the IAEA,\u00a0<strong>Rafael Mariano Grossi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2:00 p.m.: second session\u00a0<\/strong>on \u201c<strong>cyber security, hybrid threats, artificial intelligence<\/strong>\u201d with speeches by Minister\u00a0<strong>Antonio Tajani,\u00a0<\/strong>Minister of Defence\u00a0<strong>Guido Crosetto,\u00a0<\/strong>and the Undersecretary of State to the Prime Minister and Delegated Authority for the Security of the Republic,\u00a0<strong>Alfredo Mantovano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4:00 p.m.: third session\u00a0<\/strong>on \u201c<strong>The projection of Italian know-how in the world: research, science, energy and culture<\/strong>\u201d, with speeches by Minister\u00a0<strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security,\u00a0<strong>Gilberto Pichetto Fratin<\/strong>, the Minister of University and Research,\u00a0<strong>Anna Maria Bernini<\/strong>, the Minister of Culture,\u00a0<strong>Alessandro Giuli<\/strong>, and the Minister of Education and Merit,\u00a0<strong>Giuseppe Valditara<\/strong>\u00a0(via video link).<\/p>\n<p><strong>5:00 p.m.: fourth session\u00a0<\/strong>on<strong>\u00a0\u201cNew European legislature: challenges and opportunities\u201d<\/strong>, with speeches by Minister\u00a0<strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>\u00a0and the Minister for European Affairs, NRRP and Cohesion Policy,\u00a0<strong>Tommaso Foti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5:30 p.m.: closing session<\/strong>\u00a0with the speech of the Prime Minister,\u00a0<strong>Giorgia Meloni<\/strong>\u00a0(video message).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The institutional speeches\u00a0<\/strong>of the sessions on Monday 16 December will be<strong>\u00a0open to the press<\/strong>, which will be able to follow via audio-video link in the listening room (Sala Aldo Moro), and will be streamed on the Youtube channel of the Italian Foreign Ministry.<\/p>\n<p><u>The works of 17 December will take place behind closed doors.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>ACCREDITATION PROCEDURES:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending sessions open to the press on 16 December may apply for accreditation by sending a request by\u00a0<strong>Friday 13 December at 6:00 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a>\u00a0(tel. +39 06\/3691-3432-8573-3078), attaching the following:<\/p>\n<p>For representatives of Italian press organisations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or \u2013 in the absence of the latter \u2013 copy of professional identity card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For representatives of foreign press organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter from the newspaper of affiliation;<\/li>\n<li>Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs<strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document\u00a0attached.<\/p>\n<p>Due to space constraints, it may be necessary to\u00a0<strong>organise pools of photographers<\/strong>\u00a0for image moments, and\u00a0<strong>cameramen<\/strong>\u00a0for shooting.<\/p>\n<p>For\u00a0<u>requests for the positioning of satellite vehicles<\/u>, the license plates and model of the vehicles must be communicated by email to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a>\u00a0<strong><u>no later than Friday 13 December 2024.
