Giardina Papa&#8217;s works focus on the tensions generated by the new forms of work, proposed by digital economies, particularly in the\u00a0<b>global South<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Through a\u00a0<b>meta-cinematographic<\/b>\u00a0approach, the artist combines videographic techniques with Internet-related aesthetics, thus creating a\u00a0<b>hybrid narrative<\/b>\u00a0that explores how\u00a0<b>technology shapes human interactions, work and human intimacy in contemporary society.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">In the work \u201c<b>Technologies of Care<\/b>\u201d, which gives the title to the exhibition, the artist presents a series of\u00a0<b>conversations<\/b>\u00a0<b>with digital platform workers<\/b>, such as an ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) artist, a designer, customer service workers, and a fairy tale writer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">In other works created together with the \u201c<b>Radha May<\/b>\u201d collective or as a solo project, Elisa Giardina Papa explores the\u00a0<b>role played by women<\/b>\u00a0in society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Photographs @\u00a0<b>Gregorio D\u00edaz and Juan Yaruro<\/b>.
