{"id":128606,"date":"2024-12-17T17:05:53","date_gmt":"2024-12-17T16:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2024\/12\/sydney-una-selezione-di-opere-in-acquerello\/"},"modified":"2024-12-17T17:39:45","modified_gmt":"2024-12-17T16:39:45","slug":"sydney-una-selezione-di-opere-in-acquerello","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2024\/12\/sydney-una-selezione-di-opere-in-acquerello\/","title":{"rendered":"Sydney, a selection of watercolour works"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Thanks to the partnership between the\u00a0<b>Australian Watercolour Institute<\/b>\u00a0and the Fabriano\u00a0<b>Paper and Watermark Museum<\/b>, under the aegis of the<b>\u00a0Italian Cultural Institute<\/b>\u00a0of Sydney and in collaboration with\u00a0<b>the Municipality of Fabriano<\/b>\u00a0and the\u00a0<b>Biennial International Prize \u201cFabriano Watercolour 2024<\/b>\u201d, an original selection of\u00a0<b>watercolour works by Australian and Italian artists<\/b>\u00a0is on display in Sydney at the Italian Cultural Institute until 24 January.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Curated by David\u00a0<b>Van Nunen OAM<\/b>, President of the Australian Watercolour Institute, and Giorgio\u00a0<b>Pellegrini<\/b>, Director\u00a0<i>Emeritus<\/i>\u00a0of the Fabriano Paper and Watermark Museum and Curator of the Fabriano Watercolour Prize, the exhibition includes\u00a0<b>40 works by 10 Italian and 10 Australian artists<\/b>.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The\u00a0<b>dialogue between Italian and Australian art<\/b>\u00a0has a long-standing tradition, enriched &#8211; in particular &#8211; by the presence of Australian artists in both the jury and the competition of the Biennial International Prize \u201cFabriano Watercolour\u201d.
