It features modular elements with images, texts, and interactive experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Conceived by <strong>CMS Cultura<\/strong>, designed by <strong>architect<\/strong> Corrado <strong>Anselmi<\/strong>, and curated by Giulia <strong>Fortunato<\/strong>, <strong>FABRICA<\/strong> comprises six modular structures that tell the <strong>story of textile production in Italy<\/strong>. The journey begins with the pivotal role of <strong>wool production and trade in the development of Florence<\/strong>, the <strong>intensive planting of mulberry trees<\/strong> to support <strong>silk manufacturing in Sforza-era Lombardy<\/strong>, and the splendour of <strong>Venetian satins and velvets<\/strong>. It then moves forward to <strong>technical fabrics and yarns<\/strong> designed for specific and experimental purposes, culminating in <strong>new discoveries from industrial research<\/strong> in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>FABRICA provides an extraordinary insight into one of Italy\u2019s most iconic industries: the <strong>textile sector<\/strong>. It showcases Italian textiles that are far more than just fabrics; they represent the <strong>result of a journey through history, creativity, and passion<\/strong>, rooted in ancient artisanal practices that have evolved into the innovative designs of today.<\/p>\n<p>This exhibition also holds special significance as it marks the culmination of a year dedicated to celebrating the <strong>75<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Indonesia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The exhibition \u201cFABRICA.
