Italian Code of a timeless art\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The fourth stop of the exhibition \u201c<strong>MOSAIC. Italian Code of a timeless art<\/strong>&#8221; was inaugurated at the Korea Foundation Gallery in Seoul. The event, organised <strong>by the Italian Cultural Institute of Seoul<\/strong> under the auspices of the <strong>Italian Embassy <\/strong>and in collaboration with the <strong>Korea Foundation<\/strong>, is one of the central events in the celebrations marking the <strong>140<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Korea, <\/strong>as well as part of the <strong>Year of Cultural Exchange between Italy and Korea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition, produced by the <strong>Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy <\/strong>of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and conceived and realised by <strong>Magister Art<\/strong>, is developed through <strong>seven thematic sections<\/strong>. It takes visitors on <strong>a journey through Italy spanning 2,000 years<\/strong>, revealing images, symbols, techniques and materials linked to some of the <strong>most famous and representative mosaics of the country<\/strong>, from the ancient streets of Rome and Pompeii to the mosaics of Ravenna, Palermo, Monreale, Piazza Armerina and Baia.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition was inaugurated by the <strong>Italian Ambassador to Korea, <\/strong>Emilia<strong> Gatto<\/strong>, the<strong> Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Seoul<\/strong>, Michela Linda<strong> Magri<\/strong>, and the<strong> President of the Korea Foundation<\/strong>, Kim<strong> Gheewhan<\/strong>.
