SOUTHERN HYDROGEN CORRIDOR<\/strong><\/p>\n

MINISTERIAL MEETING AND BUSINESS FORUM<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Villa Madama, 21 January 2025)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, 21 January 2025, at 9:00 a.m.<\/strong>, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, together with the Minister of Environment and Energy Security,\u00a0Gilberto Pichetto<\/strong>, will inaugurate the Ministerial Meeting on the Southern Hydrogen Corridor at Villa Madama. At the conclusion of the Ministerial Meeting, a Joint Declaration will be signed, an event\u00a0open to photographers and cameramen<\/u>.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, Ministers Tajani and Pichetto will open the Business Forum with sector enterprises, a session\u00a0open to press participation<\/u>. The event will focus on the \u201cSouthern Hydrogen Corridor\u201d (South H2) project, with a particular emphasis on the production and consumption chain of hydrogen, technological developments in the sector, and European opportunities related to the energy transition in the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the event, the two Ministers may provide\u00a0brief statements to the press.<\/u><\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending the event can apply for\u00a0accreditation by sending a request, by 5:00 p.m. on Monday 20 January<\/strong>, by e-mail to\u00a0accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a>\u00a0(tel. 06 3691 8210 \u2013 8573 or 3432), as follows:<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/p>\n

For representatives of the Italian press organisations:
\n\u2013 a copy of an identity document,
\n\u2013 a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or \u2013 in the absence of the latter – a copy of professional identity card.<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
\n\u2013 copy of an identity document;
\n\u2013 letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
\n\u2013 Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/p>\n

Badges must be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0central entrance, left side, between 8:30 a.m. and approximately 9:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As it is not possible to reach Villa Madama with private vehicles, accredited journalists will be transported to Villa Madama via a shuttle service operating from the central entrance of the Farnesina (round trip), available until the conclusion of the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n
